Are olives good for you? The answer is YES, VERY GOOD.
You will find a lot of health benefits in them. Some facts:
- boost the immune system as have anti-inflammatory properties and are a good source of antioxidants,
- low in bad cholesterol,
- fat mainly monosaturated, which reduces the risk of atherosclerosis and increases the good cholesterol

- contain oleic acid to keep your skin soft and healthy,
- eating olives regularly reduces the risk of heart related disease, cancer and osteoporosis.
For a long period of time people of Mediterranean had no choice as to preserve they crops like tomatoes for colder days of winter. It was achieved by drying them at burning sun of summer days and then soaking them in variety types of liquid. The end product sun-dried tomatoes was something a bit chewy but much sweeter and tasting completely different to the fresh tomatoes.
As the result olives marinated in sun-dried tomatoes are sweet and make a lovely and tasty component of veggie salads, grain dishes or with feta cheese.
Our sunshine mix olives were processed in order to reduce level of salt. No artificial preservatives.
