Description
Greek Halkidiki green pitted olives marinated in harissa paste.
Taste hot. Spicy – about 50-60k SHU in scoville scale. Substantially spicier than black peppers. One of the hottest from our selection. For milder go for chili and garlic marinated and than chili marinated and for spicier if you are a fiery lover – proper piri-piri.
Harissa marinated olives are fiery. Harissa makes a terrific marinade for olives.
Harissa paste is of North African origin. It`s hot and aromatic. There are several types of this paste and the recipes are available even at BBC Good Food. We use harissa rose one. It has a distinctive very spicy flavor but garlic and herbs do have a hefty influence too. All combined gives the feedback we receive usually from our customers that it is the one “to die for”.
